What happens after I beat Fallout New Vegas?

So I recently, purchased Fallout New Vegas as of middle April 2011, and I heard that after you beat the game, it just ends. You will not be able to continue on with the side quests, leveling, and what not. This was the same after Fallout 3, then they released a patch to continue the game after the main story was completed.



I have not beat New Vegas yet and just wondering if they've released a patch to continue on with New Vegas after you have beaten the mainstory. Thanks.What happens after I beat Fallout New Vegas?

After you beat whatever path you choose to follow you will be forced to load a save prior to beating said path. After this, you can do other side missions and level up as you please.

What happens after I beat Fallout New Vegas?
Sorry to tell you this, but the game ends just like Fallout 3. Bethesda will more than likely put out a DLC allowing you to play beyond that point. If you want to play more, just never go onto the final quest. I have never did them (on the xbox, I did on the PC) because I know the game will end.
